Oleoplan will invest $27 mm in a biodiesel plant in Pará

Oleoplan, a Rio Grande do Sul company that processes soybean and produces biodiesel, has shown interest in setting up its first venture in Pará State by the end of 2021: a biodiesel plant in the municipality of Tomé-Açu, in the northeast region of the State. For the implementation, the announced investments amount to R$148 million ($27 mm) and it is expected that at least 50 direct jobs will be generated, in addition to thousands of indirect jobs as a direct result of the production of biodiesel in the State.
