Fortescue targets green hydrogen plant in Brazil

Australian mining company Fortescue plans to build a green hydrogen facility in Brazil amid a recently announced target to become carbon neutral by 2030. Fortescue Future Industries , a unit of the company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Porto do Açu, a major industrial and port terminal in the country, to study the feasibility of installing a 300-megawatt (MW) green hydrogen plant at the site.
