Solar photovoltaic generation grew 10.7% in February

According to a survey by the Chamber for the Commercialisation of Electric Energy (CCEE), solar photovoltaic generation grew 10.7% in the first half of February, scoring 649 average megawatts (MW) in the period. In the same period in 2020, it registered only 587 average MW. According to CCEE, in the first half of February 2021, Brazil’s electricity generation and consumption remained practically constant, with a small increase of 0.1% compared to the same time in 2020.
