Brazil starts to use 13% biodiesel, reduces pollution and diseases

The diesel consumed in Brazil now has 13% biodiesel, the renewable fuel produced from raw materials, mainly soybean oil and animal fats. The percentage of biodiesel in petroleum diesel is provided for in law 13.263, of 2016, and contributes decisively to the reduction of atmospheric pollution, improvement of air quality and reduction of respiratory disease rates.
