Investment is the lowest in 53 years, and Brazil risks getting worse

Investment is all spending that increases a country’s production. The current level is the worst in 53 years. According to economists, the country needs to attract money again from the private sector, local and foreign, since the government is heavily in debt and without room in the Budget to spend on new projects. The country currently has an investment rate in relation to the GDP that lags behind the world. If the volume of investment does not grow, Brazil will have another lost decade.
