Petrobras, through its subsidiary Petrobras Biocombustível (Pbio), concluded the sale of its 50% participation in BSBios. For the operation, the state-owned company received a total of R$ 253 million ($47 mm) on Tuesday. In addition to this amount, will be kept another R$ 67 million ($12 mm) in a linked account for compensation for any contingencies and released as provided in contract.
Claro announced it will pay R$ 3.7 billion ($685 mm) for its participation in Oi’s mobile network, as part of a joint negotiation with TIM and Vivo. Altogether, the transaction totals R$ 16.5 billion ($3 bn). Therefore, Claro’s stake corresponds to 22.4% in terms of disbursements.
