BrasilAgro acquires areas in Bolivia for $30 mn to plant grains and sugarcane

BrasilAgro completed the acquisitions of four companies based in Bolivia – Cres del Sud, Ombu, Yatay and Yuchan – in an operation that consists of a total area of 9,900 hectares and involved some $30 million, the company said. According to the company, the areas acquired are already developed and will be used for growing grains and sugarcane.

Mineração Vale Verde obtains $140 mm for project in Alagoas

Mineração Vale Verde (MVV), of British private equity firm Appian Capital, raised $140 mm in funding for the development of the copper concentrate project in Serrote, Alagoas, the companies said. MVV plans to finance all remaining costs for the development of the asset, indicating that there is now capital to carry it through to the production period, according to a statement.

ABC Brasil obtains $72.3 mm for green projects

ABC Brazil (ABCB4) reported that it obtained funding of $72.3 mm from Proparco, a financial institution of the French Development Agency (AFD). Energisa RO gets $112 mm for interconnection

A Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica publicou portaria nesta quinta-feira, 4 de fevereiro, autorizando o enquadramento da Energisa Rondônia na sub-rogação dos benefícios do rateio da Conta de Consumo de Combustíveis, relativo aos projetos de interligação de sistemas isolados no Estado de Rondônia, ao Sistema Interligado Nacional. Com isso, ela pode receber o reembolso de R$ 600.479.700,55 ($112 mm).
