Corn ethanol accounted for 6.7% of biofuel production

Ethanol production from corn predominated in the first half of January, since almost all sugarcane mills are stopped because of the off-season, and in the accumulated 2020/21 harvest it already represented 6.7% of total ethanol production, according to data from the Union of Sugarcane Industries (Unica).
