Brazilian e-commerce sales grew 154% during Christmas week, indicates Mastercard

According to a survey by Mastercard SpendingPulse, which measures consumer spending on all types of payment, including cash and cheques, Brazilian e-commerce sales during Christmas week from December 20 to 26, 2020 grew by 154% compared to the range 22 to 28 December 2019. The most prominent sales sectors were drugstores (213.1%), furniture (137%) and electronics (136.1%).
