Energy distributor CEB was privatised with a $490 mn bid from a Neoenergia group company

The energy distributor of CEB, which operates in the Federal District, was privatised with a bid of R$2.515 billion ($490 mn) from Bahia Geração de Energia, a company of the Neoenergia group, controlled by the Spanish company Iberdrola. The event was marked by a 76.63% premium, according to data from B3 which held the event. The minimum price for 100% of the assets was approximately R$1.4 billion ($274 mn).
