Government includes airports in partnership program to bring $69 bn in investments

As the privatization program fails to take off, the federal government approved the inclusion of 58 assets in the portfolio of the Investment Partnership Program (PPI), including airports Santos Dumont (Rio de Janeiro) and Congonhas (São Paulo). The goal is to grant them in concession or under public-private partnerships (PPPs). The government plans to auction 115 assets in 2021, compared with 29 this year. These projects are expected to bring R$360 billion ($69 bn) in investments.
