Cemig buys solar power plants with investments of $ 10.3 mm

Cemig has announced that it will buy 49% of solar power plants for R$54.49 million ($10.3 mm). The action will be possible through the company’s subsidiary, Cemig SIM. The company said there are seven Special Purpose Companies (or SPCs) aimed at generating energy from solar photovoltaic sources for the GD market, tottaling an installed capacity of 29.45MWp. With this acquisition, the assets total 46.27 MWp.
