Rio Energy seeks to sell wind farms in Brazil

Rio Energy, a renewable energy company of US private equity group Denham Capital, is in talks to sell its wind power assets in Brazil. One of the interested parties in the wind power assets put up for sale by Rio Energy is the state-owned Parana company Copel. The deal is valued at between R$200 million and R$300 million, the source added, without giving details.
