Government will invest $2.6 bn in nuclear energy and create agency

The resumption of nuclear energy in Brazil will involve investments of R$15.5 billion ($2.6 bn) over the next few years with the expectation of expanding uranium/yellow cake exports to 1.5 tons per year and the conclusion of the Angra 3 nuclear power plant, the minister of mining and energy (MME), Bento Albuquerque, said at an industry event.
