Brazilian junior companies have already moved more than R$ 32 million ($5.8 mm) in 2020, with more than 24 thousand projects, according to a survey by the Brazilian Confederation of Junior Companies. There are 1,250 companies in about 225 higher education institutions.

Green Fund discusses fiscal problem and poverty in Brazil
The monthly letters from the Green fund are watched carefully by the market. Program selects innovative projects in energy efficiency
Five projects from all over the country were approved for technological and business acceleration by the Lab Procel Program, created by Eletrobras and Firjan Senai. Each project will receive the investment of R$ 800 thousand ($145 K) to develop works related to the digitalisation of the Procel Seal and of devices and computer systems for remote and real time management of energy consumption.

Brazil’s soybean plantation reaches 3.4%, biggest delay in 10 years
Brazilian 20/21 soybean plantation reached 3.4% of the estimated area with the slowest work in the last ten years amid a scenario of little rainfall and high temperatures in productive regions, informed the consultancy AgRural. In the same period of last crop, the planting percentage reached 11.1%. It is the lowest rate for this time of year since the 2010/11 crop.

Children’s Day in Brazil boosts online sales, OLX shows
This year’s Children’s Day has warmed up Brazilian e-commerce. According to OLX Brazil, sales of children’s articles on the platform rose 46% compared to the same period last year. Besides being a traditional commemorative date for the retail, the Children’s Day showed that the dissemination of the pandemic has accelerated the migration movement to e-commerce.
