Investments of $1.2 bn for Brazil’s productive wind

The wind source is considered the cheapest in Brazil since 2017 and installed capacity should grow 35% by 2024 with investments of $7 billion ($1.2 bn) per year. In all, there are 653 wind farms and 7,920 wind turbines operating in the country. The installed capacity was 16.68 GW, with a forecast that by 2024 this number will reach an impressive 25.5 GW, according to InfoVento, an Abeeólica survey.
