The lack of connectivity infrastructure in rural areas is still the main obstacle today for the development of digital agriculture, according to 61.4% of professionals in the area, says a survey by Embrapa, Sebrae and Inpe. The survey was conducted with more than 750 rural producers, companies and service providers, in all states plus the Federal District (DF).
BYD inaugurated in Campinas (SP) its first photovoltaic plant exclusively focused on research and development (R&D) in Brazil. With R$ 520 billion ($94.5 bn) under management, Bradesco Asset Management has 260 companies within its investment funds.
Brazilian producers are expected to harvest 64.9 million hectares in the 2020, an increase of 2.6% compared to 2019. The data are from IBGE and the result represents more 1.7 million hectares in one year.
