Chinese Spic acquires 33% of energy projects from LNG at port of Açu

SPIC Brazil announced a binding agreement to initially purchase 33% of the GNA I and GNA II projects, located in the Port of Açu, which add 3 GW in power generation capacity from liquefied natural gas (LNG). The total planned investment for the GNA gas and power complex is estimated at approximately $5 bn.
