Petrobras oil and gas production rises 14.6% in the 1st quarter
Petrobras’ total oil, NGL and natural gas production totalled 2.909 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first quarter, up 14.6% over the same period last year, with the development of new platforms in operation. The result was contributed by the entry into operation of seven new platforms between 2018 and 2019.

Neoenergia has profit of $ 96 million in the first quarter, up 17%
Electric company Neoenergia recorded net income of R$ 577 million ($ 96 million) in the first quarter of 2020, an increase of 17% compared to the same period last year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) totalled R$ 1.5 billion ($ 250 million) in the period, an increase of 14.1%, while investments reached R$ 964.5 million ($160 million), an increase of about 10%.

Government studies investment of $ 3.5 bn for credit to medium-sized companies

Embraer shares fall 7.5% after break according to Boeing
Embraer’s shares suffered a 7.5% loss on the São Paulo Stock Exchange on Monday (27), after the announcement of the end of its merger process with Boeing. The shares of the third largest manufacturer in the world, which fell more than 15% during the day, regained ground during the session and ended with a loss of 7.5%, while the Ibovespa index of the main shares gained 3.86%.
